Theme III: Seminars/Workshops in Learning and Teaching

The Seminars/Workshops in Learning and Teaching is categorized as part of the Certificate Course “Introduction to Teaching in Higher Education”, under Theme III.

It aims to provide new academic/teaching staff with exemplars of strategies and skills for quality teaching. Course participants are required to attend a minimum of 1.5 hours (for participants who start the course before 1 Sep 2017) or 3 hours (for participants who start the course on or after 1 Sep 2017) of seminars/workshops organized by LTTC/Faculties/Departments, including:

activities related to human care (if appropriate);
experience sharing by the Teaching Awardees of the University;
talks related to learning and teaching provided by the experienced academic/teaching staff of the University, and investigators of UGC/Institutional/Faculty-supported Teaching Development Grants (TDG) projects.
