STEM Workshop Series


To promote STEM education and keep students abreast of the latest development of learning and teaching of STEM activities, a STEM workshop Series will be launched in 2017/18. The “STEM Workshop Series” cover the topics of remote control of physical digital objects, IoT (Internet of Things), etc. Students who are interested in STEM education and who have prerequisite knowledge on coding and mobile apps development are welcome to participate in these workshops to learn more about STEM education and programming. Students who completed the workshops will be qualified to attain a Certificate of Completion.

Application Requirements

In order to make it fair to applicants and for better resources allocation, lower priority will be given to those who did not show up at an enrolled workshop without advance notification;

Higher priority will be given to those who have attended the 39-hour courses on “Introduction to Apps Development and 3D Printing”, “Coding Apps for Mathematics Learning and Teaching”, the 3-hour workshop “Introduction to Mobile Apps Development”; or have basic knowledge about mobile apps development.


Students are expected to display their final products at LTTC’s laboratories or post related photos on LTTC website for knowledge transfer and project showcase.

Students who completed the STEM Workshop Series may have the opportunities to join a team to build your own robots.
