LTTC Workshop: Using Information Technology to Improve Classroom Learning Effectiveness

To facilitate classroom interaction, a software uReply has been introduced to 6 of the Universities in Hong Kong, and has received very good feedback. The software mainly uses mobile technology. Students can easily communicate with teachers to let teachers know their process of learning. In addition, a report system has been introduced for reviewing students’ performance and for further academic purposes.

Speakers Prof. Paul Lam (CUHK)
Paul currently is an associate professor in Centre for Learning Enhancement And Research (CLEAR) in CUHK with a PhD in Applied English Linguistics. He has extensive interest and experience in teaching and learning principles, case-based teaching and learning, web-assisted teaching and learning, and evaluation of e-Learning and mLearning.Mr. Tony Wong (Edvant Co. Ltd)
Tony has worked in the educational field for 4 years and is now studying Master of Science in Information and Technology Management in CUHK. His profession mainly focuses on educational technology for improving teaching and learning experience.
