Workshop: Exploring the use of Digital Teaching Portfolios

Digital teaching portfolio is suggested to be a useful tool to document and showcase teaching practices and to enhance teaching and learning. With the use of the e-portfolio tool, Mahara, you can create your own portfolio page to share your ideas and teaching practices with selected audiences.

This workshop aims to walk through with you the essential functions of Mahara for editing your profile, uploading documents, creating a portfolio page, and building a group on Mahara. It will start with the introduction of existing examples of teaching portfolios, followed up by hands-on practice on using the platform for building portfolio pages.

After the workshop, staff can stay on for individual/group consultations if they already have materials that they would like to put onto their portfolios.
