Abstract

How can you persevere and persist on challenging – or boring – university tasks? What are some of the ways to that you can adapt your learning strategies when not succeeding? How do you even know if you are succeeding? In this workshop, you will take a deep dive into self-regulated learning theory and practice, while completing interactive activities that will help you develop your capacity to excel at university life and beyond.

Dr Paula de Barba is an educational researcher with expertise on how people learn, particularly in online settings. She has a PhD in Psychological Sciences and is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Melbourne Centre for the Study of Higher Education, at the University of Melbourne, Australia.
