Introduction
To be better prepared to face the current and future AI-infused society, it is important for students to have basic understanding on AI. With the support of the Li Ka Shing Foundation (LKSF) donation and UGC Research Matching Grant Scheme, the LTTC has been offering an “Artificial Intelligence Literacy Programme” to all Secondary Grade 4 to 6 students in Hong Kong. The Programme is FREE and the EdUHK provide participants with corresponding learning and teaching materials.

Our Award-winning AIL Programme
LTTC was announced the In-house Winner of the 2022 Gold Standard Award for Public/Private Partnership for its Artificial Intelligence Literacy (AIL) Programme on 30 June.
The event was organised by PublicAffairsAsia and the Public Relations and Communications Association Asia Pacific. The award-judging panel comprised renowned figures from the public affairs, corporate affairs and communication sectors.
Our School Networks
In the summer of 2021, about 60 students from four schools participated in the pilot AIL programme. In 2021/22 and 2022/23, the AIL Programme is offered to Secondary Grade 6 students in May – June, and Secondary Grade 4 – 5 students in June – August respectively.

Lite Version
We are delighted to invite your students to join a lite version of our AI Literacy Programme. The lite version comprises the first two courses of our Programme, focusing on Machine Learning and Deep Learning. The total 18 hours will be completed within 1 week.

The Programme aims to equip students with AI concepts and ethical consideration, develop their awareness of AI, and empower them with AI to shape the future society. The 58-hour AI Literacy Programme has four levels of courses with details below:
