Padlet
Virtual Canvas/bulletin boards where students and teachers can collaborate, reflect and share their creative artefacts and learning experience with each other.
Many styles are available on Padlet. Padlet can be used for class activities, brainstorm, topics discussions, creative ideas sharing, reflections, selfies, presentations… etc.


Nearpod
Nearpod is an interactive learning platform for teachers to create interactive lesson and engages students with activities. Teacher can also get real-time feedback on students’ understanding and access to progress reports to review students’ performances.

Mentimeter
A student response system featured interactive survey and polling tool to collect instant feedbacks from students during class or remote learning. Encourage knowledge sharing and stimulate class discussions.

Edpuzzle

A video community created by teacher to facilitate online learning and collaboration. Students can build their video portfolios, practice conversational and presentation skills, and share their learning experiences.

Workshop 2: Setting Up a Video-rich Classroom Community Using Flip
Video assignments are getting more popular. Using Flip, you can easily set up an online space (grids) for you and students (or even guests) to view and respond to video submissions in multiple formats. By the end of this workshop, you will be able to create and manage your grids. You will also get some inspiration on how to use Flip in various teaching scenarios.

Workshop 3: Using Mentimeter to Enhance Student Engagement and Interaction
Student response systems are widely used by teachers to enhance student engagement and facilitate interaction in both online and face-to-face classrooms. At the same time, these systems allow teachers to collect students’ choices instantly and display results in rich visuals and graphics at once. In this workshop, participants will have hands-on practice in using Mentimeter to create interactive presentations and questions, generating attractive graphical results for classroom presentation.

With Nearpod, you can synchronise your deck of slides to your students’ devices in a click, and track whether students are following your presentation or formative assessment activities. Workshop 5: Using Edpuzzle for In-video Quiz
If you want to curate your teaching videos into an interactive lesson with assessment activities, Edpuzzle is for you. By the end of this workshop, you will be able to create your video-based lesson, embed assessments, audio notes or comments on it, and know how to track student progress. You will also get some inspiration on how to use Edpuzzle in various teaching scenarios.

Workshop 6: Using Padlet as a Multimedia Organiser and a Collaborative Learning Tool
Think of Padlet as the whiteboard or bulletin board in your classroom, where you can invite students to post sticky notes of their ideas for brainstorming, or pin up their posters for peer review. You can also think of Padlet as a folder where you organize various types of notes and multimedia files. By the end of this workshop, you will be able to create Padlet of a few common layouts, embed content from the web into it, and export your Padlet. You will also get some inspiration on how to use Padlet for collaborative learning and understand the usage of Padlet from students’ point of views.
